You know, personally I – really love fairy-tales. Various – ancient, new, folk, authors' ones, those written in verse, in prose – different. From the very childhood and until now this is – virtually the most favorite thing of all. And thus – exactly as an old admirer of fairy-tales – I would dare to say: "Wonders of the Small Town" is one of the best books of fairy-tales that I have happened to read in my whole life. Everything is there – joy, sorrow, magic, beauty, a transparent smile, hope and salty laughter. And the main thing – there is wisdom in these fairy-tales. Real, not bookish – the wisdom to see light even in the dark and to offer love unreservedly, honestly, gladly. Just because the love that one does not share – dries out, falls apart, turns into fear. And – Guram Petriashvili knows how to tell about this so simply that he will easily be understood both by children, and even by adults... Sure, everybody will see something of his/her own, but I am sure that in any case everyone – will see...
...by the way, Guram Petriashvili is exactly the person whose poems were turned into the song "Nakaduli" on the album by Rodion Ivanov "Electric variete".
