Povist Mynulykh Lit is one of the oldest creations of the world literature, the first Kyiv Rus monument, in which the history of the state is pictured on the wide background of the world events. In the tale that was being created in the Õ² – the beginning of the Õ²² century by Nestor the Chronicler and other monks the history of Eastern Slavs and princely powers, establishment of Christianity on the Rus are being portrayed, it contains stories about the rise of Slavic written language. It is the Tale, which captured many prominent scientists, who have tried to solve its ancient mysteries. Text cited without shortenings. Read by V. Obruchov. Disclamer: All software proposed AS IS. Probably, there is no need here for any additional explanations. All is simple: folk ballads are compulsory for listening. He managed to retell simple and known, it would seem, things and plots so... these fairy-tales are a smooth, thin border between sheer folklore and literature – and there are no slants in that or other side, everything is harmoniously balanced.

This time I was more interested in, in fact, not the spectacle, but, actually, the drama. Imagine my surprise when I saw that virtually all participants of the action are – happy. In other words, everybody receives everything, to a full degree. But – each at his/her own level, in the space of own desires, feelings, dreams.

There is a serious basis – mythology already several thousand years old. And a considerable surprise – because, you should agree, the author offers an unusual, bold look both at classic plots, and at the whole literature in general. To say nothing about the human nature – Kotlyarevsky ridicules its flaws mercilessly, brightly, without compromising, but – justly, there is no doubt about this.
