The very first sounds with which this disc starts inspire quite a stable association with rock music of the 1960s and 1980s – actually, a pleasant association. In fact, every next song confirms correctness of the first impression. But – and this is also pleasant – the style palette of the album is varied and saturated enough. That is, this is rock, in which there is roll, and hard, and art, and atmospheric poetry and just poems. The mixture conveys such a powerful nostalgic reference that at some instant you even get sincerely surprised at how these guys succeed in creating this sort of an atmosphere now, in our time. And texts of the songs are far not the least important here. Lyrics by the young are not only love, but also thirst for cognitions, simple joys, complicated questions to which there are no exhaustive answers. All of that is there, and the main thing – there is light mood, there is the feeling of creative space. And – there is the hope that continuation will be no less interesting than the beginning.
